New Evidence of Exegetical Studies about the Mythology in Oracle Inscriptions of the Shang Dynasty on Tortoiseshells or Animals Bones

The great value of Naxi folk culture to the study of ancient documents.
Abstract: In the beginning of the last century, scholars in domestic and abroad have put forth a hypothesis of “Sino-Tibetan language”. There is a common ancestor of ethnic group’s languages in China——-original Sino-Tibetan language. Linguists prove the establishment of such a hypothesis from different angles, the phonetics, vocabulary, grammar etc. The history of documented myth and legend also proved the common ancestral relationship of all ethnic groups of Sino-Tibetan languages. In addition, Han is a multi-ethnic integration. So some intricate cultural phenomena in ancient documents.can be obtained explanation from the datum in ethnic minorities’ custom. the datum of Yi nationality’s field survey, Mr. Ma Xueliang provide certification for the explanation of ancient literature in ” new evidence of exegetical studies about the ancient ceremony” ,it set up a new way of ancient ceremony study .The abundant of folk culture datum of Naxi nationality also provide the powerful certification for the understanding of ancient times documents. For example, “emperor”in oracle inscriptions of the Shang Dynasty on tortoiseshells or animals bones, Predecessors thought this was nature god living in the sky ,the procreation god of natural universe or it was that the nature god changed into the god of human beings etc. There are different thoughts. And the folk culture of the Naxi datum provided powerful evidence for the last explanation. A lot of characters concerned with “Heaven”, and the words recited for sacrifice heaven ceremony and some DongBa scriptures, they all describe the close relationship between the gods and human ancestors. People use white fur animals to pray for fertility to female ancestor god, this kind of phenomenon has despaired, and that this custom is still keep down in ancient Qiang nationality’s descent – Naxi. There are a lot of examples; they can prove that the datum of Naxi folk culture will be of great value to the understanding of ancient documents.
